In the realm of visual parts and principles of design, I do want they went more into depth. The textual content is comprehensive, offering a variety of material on the subject. Several of the chapters–mostly the latter ones–are extra conceptual and/or philosophical and while they would be excellent for Art majors or upper stage college students, they would not be as useful for a basic education Art Appreciation course.
